Our site is divided into five categories: Welcome, Gov't at Large, Around Town, Trip Planner and Cool Tools.

You have the option of viewing the contents of each category before you go to any page. Simply click on any category in the top right hand corner. When you do, the items in that category appear just below the main menu.

Scroll through that category's content using the up and down scroll arrows. Place your mouse cursor over either up or down arrow and hold down to scroll.

When you've decided on an page you'd like to see, click that link to go to that page in the category.

If you want to jump back to the 'home' page from whatever page you're viewing, click on the main title in the upper left hand corner.

Agendas, Applications, Permits and other forms are in PDF format. If you have the Adobe® Acrobat Reader program installed on your computer, you can read, save and print them.

Fonts

A font is a style of lettering, and we use 'Verdana' exclusively in our site.

If you don't have Verdana, get it for Mac or PC.

We reserve the right to include or omit any information, as represented by a listing and/or link, submitted to us for inclusion in this site.

We've received many requests for links of a commercial nature to be installed in our site. Our policy is to leave business sites in the hands of commercial search engines and 'portals' which may exist in our area. However, sites of a commercial nature which deal with or promote Parkersburg or West Virginia heritage, culture or history as a major part of their business receive strong consideration for inclusion in our site.
